Take It and Run Thursday: Six Word Running Memoir
Welcome to Take It and Run Thursday! It's our way to bring together the knowledge of all of us ordinary runners. It's the virtual equivalent to putting our virtual heads together. Even though many of us aren't elite athletes, coaches or authors, it doesn't mean that we haven't earned a well deserved PhD in running. Whether you are starting out, have 50 years of running under your belt or somewhere in between - all of us have lessons learned that make us wiser and better runners.
Today's theme is ....Your Six Word Running Memoir. Write your running memoir in exactly six words. Completely inspired by a recent post by PigTails Flying, I hope this gave your mind something to chew on for all your runs last week.
Just fill in your name/title of your post and your URL below.
Next weeks theme is .... Care and Feeding of Your Feet. A tribute, a celebration and some education about the unsung heros of our running - our feet. Share your tips of how you keep them happy, healthy and pain free. Talk about socks, shoes, insoles, creams, shoe powder, pedicures, massages, stretches - whatever strikes you.

Hey Julie, am so glad you are spreading the idea of the 6-word race report! They are so much fun to write.

Ah man, I so miss blogging and you guys. Sorry I missed this. I am sort of partial to Some hits. Some runs. Some errors. (for life and for running) and this isn't unique, but I don't remember who or where I stole it either. :P

I thought this was a great topic. Even though I'm late at posting to this particularly entry, it's because I've been thinking about it for a while.

For a team that was the perennial eight seed last year finishing with an average record and coming into 2011 with average expectations, they lived to smash the reputation they had been given as a so-so team with no real shot at a title. And boy did they do that.
