Running Memoirs in Just Six Words
Are we out of our minds? Summarizing running memoirs using six words! That’s this week’s topic/challenge for TIART. So here goes my briefest best.
On why I’ve run for years…
Running produces a healthier, better me.
On the running body I've built...
Legs are steel; abs are jello.
On what my daily runs provide…
Running leaves me feeling fully alive.
Thoughts after running my first marathon…
Holy crap! What was I thinking?
Thoughts after running my twelfth marathon…
Holy crap! What was I thinking?
On aging as a masters runner
Training for my next generation PRs
On leaving behind a running legacy…
May my children discover running’s rewards
So go ahead and join us. Get your cryptic writing juices flowing. Submitting multiple six-word memoirs is fine.
Anyone notice this post’s quirky style? All sentences contain just six words.

"Legs are steel; abs are jello."
That sounds just like me, Tom.

Jello abs! Um, yeah. Me, too.
Hey -- six words. But that isn't my memoir -- just agreeing with you, Tom! Thanks for the reminder to work the core...

President Barack Obama said he would take no options off the table in confronting Iran, and defended his Iran record in the face of Republican attack, saying the sanctions imposed already have had "enormous bite and enormous scope."He held out hope that Russia and China would help pressure Iran on its nuclear program and said these leaders agreed on the problem. But he said further consultations were necessary to determine next steps.
